Fucking insomnia. I'm not sure if it was the chicken noodle soup or the lemon cake my wife made, but I can't sleep. It could be worse, I suppose. For example, I could live in Wuhan, China. Besides being slightly dirtier than the DFW Metroplex, there's something about living in the wake of a catastrophic flood.
Yes the Rangers still suck, but at least A-Rod's still the man, and the best shortstop in the game today (not a bad feat, considering the number of decent players at that position). On a related note, the date I picked to see my first Rangers game: August 31. Planned strike date (barring an eleventh-hour agreement): August 30.
